Dollars and Sense intends to present topics about money, financial literacy, and business to youth ages 12-19 years old. After participating in this 8-week program, students will gain general knowledge about financial literacy through subjects such as the history of money, gain an understanding of currencies, and learn about different types of bank accounts. Students will also be introduced to business principles, including budgeting, accounting, and the design thinking process. Overall, students will learn to think critically about finances and gain critical thinking skills to apply towards decision making.
